UPLIFT Project
Manager: April Kirkendall
UPLIFT is a community-based project that seeks to provide legal education and services in partnership with centers that serve specific client populations. UPLIFT works directly with three community centers: the Good Neighbor Center, the Asian Community and Cultural Center, and El Centro de las Americas. By partnering with the centers, UPLIFT identifies clients with legal needs that impact economic stability. Education and legal services are provided for the areas of housing, income and benefits, and debt. On-site services are provided to identify needs early. UPLIFT seeks to improve conditions throughout the community.
